The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located off Patterson Road (Map-Block-Parcel 29-A-2&3 & 30-B-6.1,7,&8). This application was filed by the Shirley Water District, owner of the property. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland and bank and within the 200-foot river protection area. The proposed project is for a proposed well and pumping station, including excavation for access road at back of property connecting to Patterson Road, excavation and grading for the production well site, installation of the production well and conducting a pumping test. The public hearing will be held at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
