The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located at Clark Road, from Hazen Road to Morgan Road; Hazen Road, from Scotts Glenn to Walker Road; Holden Road, from Center Road to Burrage Road; and Whitney Road. This application was filed by the Shirley Department of Public Works; the owner of the property is the Town of Shirley. Said work will involve the sweeping of the roads, reclamation of existing pavement material, and the resurfacing of the existing widths within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetlands and within the 200-foot riverfront area. The public meeting will be held at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
