The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located between Patterson and Walker Roads (Map-Block-Parcels 29-A-1, 29-A-1.1, 29-A-2, and 29-A-4). This application was filed by Shirley Water District, owner of the property. This application is for a proposed extension of gravel drive (over existing dirt road) and proposed extension of Town water line connecting Town well-site to proposed Walker Road water line, with portions of work within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland and within the 200-foot river protection area. The public hearing will be held at 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
