The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located at Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Right-of-Way, which includes various parcels. This application was filed by TEC Associates, representative of Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland and bank. Said work involves determining whether the boundaries are accurately delineated as a requirement of the Vegetative Management Plan (VMP) that allows application of herbicides. The public meeting will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend. The application can be viewed at the Conservation Commission Office at the Town Offices building.
