The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing according to the Wetlands Protection Act (MGL Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw relative to a Request for an Amendment to an Order of Conditions under the Wetlands Protection Act and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The amendment is relative to DEP File #284-384 for work located at the Shirley/Lunenburg town line off Catacunemaug Road (Map-Block-Parcel 36-A-1). This application was filed by Lake Shirley Improvement Corp., acting as the agent for the owner of the property, the Town of Lunenburg. The request for amendment involves increasing the depth of drawdown to 6 feet for the 2006/2007 season, and increasing the term of the OOC to a total of 3 years with a maximum drawdown of 8 feet. The public hearing will be held at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
