The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located on Squannacook Road at Trap Swamp Brook (a public roadway adjacent to Map-Block-Parcel 116-A-2). This application was filed by Shirley Department of Public Works; owner of the property is the Town of Shirley. Said work will involve the replacement of a failed corrugated metal pipe culvert with a 4-foot wide by 3-foot high gravel floor box culvert in accordance with PGP II Standards. Work is proposed within land under water and bank associated with Trap Swamp Brook. The public hearing will be held at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
