The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located at Catacunemaug Road (a public way). This application was filed by the Town of Shirley Department of Public Works; the owner of the property is the Town of Shirley. Said work will involve reconstruction of the roadway, installation and reconstruction of stormwater collection devices, and construction of treatment swale best management practices (BMPs), with work on BMPs in bank, bordering vegetated wetland, and the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. The public hearing will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
