The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located at Bruce Street Lots 7 & 8 (Map-Block-Parcel 23-B-7 & 23-B-8). This application was filed by John Canney; the owners of the property are Patricia Woods (for 23-B-7) and Middster Realty Trust, Henry C. Frye, Trustee (for 23-B-8). This application is for construction of two single-family houses within the 100-foot buffer zone and within the 100-year floodplain (bordering land subject to flooding). The public hearing will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
