The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located at Benjamin Road (Map-Block-Parcel 40-A-1.2 & 40-A-1.3). This application was filed by the Benjamin Hill Park Committee; the owner of the property is the Town of Shirley. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. Said work involves installation of a drainage trench. The public meeting will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
