The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located at Benjamin Road (Map-Block Parcel 40-A-1.12 & 40-A-1.3). This application was filed by the Benjamin Hill Park Committee. The owners of the property are Town of Shirley (under the care, custody, and control of the Recreation Commission) for 40-A-1.12 and J&A Realty Trust for 40-A-1.3. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. Said work involves clearing and grading for playing fields, with no work performed within 30 feet of wetland. The public meeting will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
