PUBLIC MEETING
GFI Shirley — Lancaster Road (Apple Orchard Estates)
The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located at Lancaster Road (Map-Block-Parcel 12-C-26). This application was filed by Richard J. Anderson; owner of the property is GFI Shirley, LLC. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. Said work involves removal of existing barn (Hazen-Davis Barn) including foundation stones, except a small portion of the foundation of the barn as a historical reminder, as well as clearing of brush, saplings, and dead trees within limit of work. The public meeting will be held at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend. The application can be viewed at the Conservation Commission Office at the Town Offices Building at 7 Keady Way in Shirley.
