The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located from 89 Center Road to Hazen Road (various map and parcel numbers). This application was filed by Shirley Water District. The owner of the property (town road) is the Town of Shirley. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. Said work involves installing a 12-inch water main into the paved roadway, with hydrants installed just off the paved roadway. The public meeting will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend. The application can be viewed at the Conservation Commission office at the Town Offices building.
