The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located at 56 Fredonian Street (Map-Block-Parcel 15-C-5). This application was filed by Town of Shirley, owner of the property. This application is for proposed demolition of a condemned three-family house within the 100-year floodplain and construction of a new single-family house outside the 100-year floodplain. Both the demolition and the construction are within the 200-foot riverfront area of Catacunemaug Brook. The public hearing will be held at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
