The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing relative to a Notice of Intent filing under the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Wetlands Protection Bylaw. The work is located at 48 Walker Road (Map-Block-Parcel 28-A-2.1). This application was filed by Kathy Farnsworth, owner of the property. This application is for work proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland and within bordering land subject to flooding and the 200-foot riverfront area associated with Morse Brook. The proposed project is for the installation of a new drinking water well, construction of a handicap access ramp, replacement of two existing porches, and the removal of 1 tree and trimming of dead branches. The public hearing will be held at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
