The Shirley Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting in order to determine whether the work, described below, is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Shirley Non-Zoning Wetlands Bylaw. The work is located between 36 and 64 Center Road within the Town Right of Way. This application was filed by the Shirley Water District; the owner of the property is the Town of Shirley. The proposed work will occur within the paved surfaces of the roadway and within the 100-foot buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland. Said work involves installing a 12-inch water main, including nine house services and one hydrant. The public meeting will be held at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the Town Offices at 7 Keady Way in Shirley. All interested parties are urged to attend.
